Hotel B is a restored 1900's Belle Epoque mansion in the historic neighbourhood of Barranco. Inspired by the Bohemian atmosphere of the neighborhood, the hotel exhibits a private collection of contemporary Latin American and Peruvian artists, adding a unique charm to the interiors.
The property is ideally located on the corner of Boulevard Saenz Peña and Calle San Martín, in the heart of Barranco; two blocks from the Pacific Coast and 5 minutes from Miraflores. The neighborhood, a protected historic area, is filled with historic houses, its own main square and the famous Puente de los Suspiros (Lima’s Bridge of Sighs). It has been populated with boutiques, restaurants, and is within walking distance from numerous galleries and museums.
There are 17 rooms in the hotel, all with large pieces of artwork, befitting of the general arts theme of the hotel. The graceful rooms provide free Wi-Fi, iPod docking stations and plasma TV's with satellite channels. The rooms also feature desks and living areas, as well as soaking tubs and minibars, with top class room service.
This is the place for guests who love culture and history, plus plenty of personal touches like afternoon tea included, and a glass of champagne on arrival. Barranco is filled with historical buildings, there was a feature on the area in the Sunday Times Travel Magazine by Stanley Stewart. As he explored Peru's capital city, this renowned British journalist talked at length about the "funky neighbourhood of Barranco", clearly falling for this part of town: "In the 19th century, Barranco was a fashionable seaside resort where Lima's aristocracy built Belle Epoque summer villas. In the 21st century, it has become the city's bohemian neighbourhood, a Left Bank of artists, writers and musicians, including the fashion photographer Mario Testino, whose MATE gallery is one of the new highlights. Barranco is now Party Central, full of atmospheric bars."
The hotel’s restaurant, bar and lounge have been designed to complement Lima´s exceptional restaurants; a place for traditional service and excellent Peruvian cuisine in a light informal presentation with a feeling of Old Lima. Various service areas offer private settings for guests combined with venues open to Limeños.

Oscar Velarde, owner of La Gloria, Lima´s acclaimed restaurant, and advisor to the cuisine at Cicciolina in Cusco, has designed the menu to highlight intense flavours of local fresh ingredients utilizing the freshest of Oscar´s orchard, the catch of the day and a wide array of local purveyors. The menu is a blend of traditional Peruvian ingredients and Mediterranean flavours. The food is straightforward and accessible. The cooking emphasizes traditional technique, the classics updated to enhance the taste clarity of their primary ingredients.
