Surrounded by lush, tropical mountains, and sparkling turquoise waters, guests can enjoy unparalleled seclusion, while swimming beneath natural waterfalls, indulging in the finest gastronomic cuisine, and relaxing in luxurious shaded sunbeds that virtually hover above the property’s stunning pools.

Serene and secluded, Sublime Samana is perfectly situated on the Samaná Peninsula on the Dominican Republic’s northeastern coast. Considered one of the islands most beautiful regions, visitors can indulge in the rarities of a landscape complete with coconut groves, tropical forests, protected national parks, alcove crystalline beaches and exotic animal mating grounds.

Sublime Samana has spared no detail when it comes to ensuring the best of creature comforts and pleasures for its guests. A gem of the Caribbean, the isolated property allows guests to revel in the warm Caribbean breeze with access to six-miles of pristine, sandy palm-fringed beaches.

Following a mellow beachside stroll, comfortable chaises await guests seeking a moment of reflection, a refreshing beverage, or simple relaxation. Attentive staff traverse the pathways along the pools with carts offering refreshing beverages and addressing guests’ every need. The poolside grill offers delectable dishes in a casual open-air waterfront setting. For a more elegant twist, the property’s main restaurant, Bistro, offers visitors a fusion of French and Mediterranean cuisine in an intimate atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor terrace seating.

The property has opened a new 5,382 square foot spa with two indoor treatment rooms, one Vichy shower and one Temazcal to help guests relax, rejuvenate and soothe the senses. Guests also have the option to receive a treatment on the beach. Sublime Samana’s spa menu uses all local spa ingredients such as stones from the Samaná River, coconut, honey, sand and other ingredients in the body wraps, facials and massages.

Hatha yoga classes rebalance the mind, body and soul with breathing, stretching and meditation techniques. After treatments, guests are served chilled coconut milk directly from the coconut itself.

In addition, guests can partake in journeys to the spectacular El Limón waterfall or to the National Park Los Haitises with its calcified hills, caves, mangroves, and a multitude of bird species and exotic sea turtles. Those who visit between January and March, can take a whale-watching boat trip to see the humpback whales arrive annually in Samaná to mate, give birth and nurse their young.

Sublime Samana Hotel & Residences makes an art out of weaving local and luxury together in almost every aspect of their Caribbean experience.
