The culinary offerings of the hotel are detailed and exquisite, with a wonderful “philosophy that transcends conventional parameters of environmental sustainability to include notions of environmental harmony, integration, and celebration.” The Executive Chef, Warren Barr works closely with the Tofino-Ucluelet Culinary Guild to source B.C. based seafood, game and produce suppliers to stock the kitchens with local and organic ingredients. Wild salmon, spot prawns, and side stripe shrimp are procured by legendary local Angler Jeff Mikus while crab, halibut, and other products come from Trilogy in Tofino and West Pacific Seafood.
The Pointe Restaurant is rated as one of Tofino’s top restaurants, sporting over 240 degrees of Pacific Ocean viewscape. The On the Rocks Lounge features an excellent selection of Pacific Northwest wines, a quality range of classic ports and one of B.C.'s largest selection of single-malt scotches. Driftwood Café offers a range of specialty espresso drinks, fruit smoothies and spa-inspired fare, it is the ideal spot to start or conclude a morning beach walk, or enjoy a light breakfast or an afternoon snack.
The West Coast of Vancouver Island is remote yet accessible and of course unspoiled, pristine and yours to discover. From extreme to extremely laid back, there are activities here for everyone during every season. Tailored experiences can be arranged by the hotel’s team of concierges, which is headed by a Clef d’Or member.
Wickaninnish Inn is an enchanted place, surrounded by fairytale forests riddled with colossal trees, rocky outcrops, mystic peaks and majestic star fish scattered shores. The Wickaninnish Inn in all of its charm provides the finer things amidst the raw beauty that the surroundings hold, resonating strongly with its slogan - “This Is Rustic Elegance on Nature’s Edge…”
